well you'd notice that the NPC get flown like 1-2 meters back after a melee hit. i think the devs should tone it down a little bit

Yeah, headbob in games usually just make me feel like I'm playing a giant chicken. The way people move their eyes in real life makes us unaware of any bobbing unless it's really drastic movements.
I think the legs mustn't be that close.

About 12 seconds into the video, the song makes a whirring sound. I thought that was the sound of the gun firing. Anyway, everything looks awesome though maybe the grenade blast radius is just THE TINIEST bit too big? It's very slight but that's just my opinion.
Gotta agree about the grenades. I understand you want to go for realism, and the destructive force of any fragmentation device would be felt for a good distance, but as a gameplay mechanic they may be a bit too powerful. Not much point in AI that take cover if they can't get out of the blast radius in time.
At the very least if explosives are rare (I'm talking maximum inventory of one, with rare drops) you can play it off as a 'trump card' only used in dire situations...

so lets just say I agree with them all.
Everything is awesome i rly like the bullet penetration system...but the RPG has a good deal of kick backwards and the rocket(propelled grenade)dose not go that straight and it dose not go in insane circles like gta could u pls make it more spready-ish for realism purposes

Two things I hated. First, un-Source-like head-bobbing. Too Stalker-ish, and that's one thing I hated about Stalker. It's disorienting. Second, the music. Of course, I'm looking forward to the mod like all holy hell.

Alright, the physics affected deathcam was pretty awesome. Also the bullet penetration physics were cool. And the NPC AI. AND the melee. AND the headbob. Hell, this mod just looks awesome.
How about some NPC death animations before ragdolling? Like in L4D?
Amazing work! I hope the melee is a lil more realistic (damage wise) on release. It would be cool if it stunned enemy's too. :)

Overall, very nice. I particularly liked how bullets deflected after passing through a surface. I personally didn't like the RPG animation, but the other animations seem great so far.
Maybe the melee hitting someone could be less powerfull?

Regular HL2. It was originally going to be for EP2 but then I realised that nobody I know owns it
aw... too bad really, ep2 has a nice engine, graphic wise and so (i think)
But won't it still have to be the Ep2 engine, ever since the 2009 update?
