A note sent to me said the lowest system specs they have tested on were as follows:

Dual core 3.0 Ghz
4gb Ram
512 mb Geforce 9600 GT or equivalent
Direct X 10 display adapter.

I'm happy to report it works with much slower computers! My oldest box runs super smoothly with the following:

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
Pentium 4 @ 3.20GHz
2 GB RAM
256 MB Radeon X600 Pro
DirectX 9.0c
