I hope that the docking tube has a planned damage model...
Like a pair of ships docked together transfering repaircrews (which could be healtpoints and/or ship efficiency. Blow up the tube and both ships would lose on one or both accounts for a short period of time...
Sorry.. me just dreaming. Throwing out ideas without know whether or not you are capeable of implementing those ideas...
