InfiniExplores is a 3D space-sandbox game, made for space exploration, science fiction, resource management and action fans. In this game you can build your own colony or spaceship totally customizable, explore the galaxy, fight against other enemy factions, commerce and more.

When you start the game you choose a planet to start from the hundreds out there in the galaxy map. Once on the planet you have to extract resources to begin building a colony that provides you with the items to survive like food and others. If the colony is secure, you can start building your spaceship to go to other planets to extract unique resources that you need to develop new technologies, or you can also use your spaceship to attack pirates, or trade with friendly factions or discover buried secrets.

An unique way of block building

Most of the blocks building games have an universal rule that is: only one piece in one spot. In InfiniExplorers you can build infinitely pieces in one single spot, could seem unuseful, but in fact is really useful cause the combination of pieces of different shapes and sizes could originate really cool and real shapes. Other reason of why this feature is important in this game is because InfiniExplorers is focused in creation of auxiliary systems for your colony or spaceship, auxiliary systems like the energy, water, oxygen, oil and much more supplies, and this supplies need wires or pipes in order to transport it, so with the infinite piece per place feature, you dont have to avoid a wall or other piece in order to connect your wires to a machine, you only have to go through the piece (wall, other block) like in the real world, giving the game a more easily and real way to connect your machines.

Some Ideas

I'm thinking to do some stories that the player can choose, like the merchant, the pirate, the soldier, the miner... each one with some kind of initial resources, features and differents end goal. I would like to do a game that you can play like a sandbox and also you can finish a story and try the other stories.The game is in a early alpha. Hi everyone!!

My game is ten days on SteamGreenlight and also the same days on a crowdfunding campaign called Indiegogo. 

First I'm going to talk about maybe some simple statistics features that can help to predict other devs the number of visitors on Steam Greenlight, of course this statistics are based on the numbers of visitors of my game, so can only will fit in other games if they have similars features.

In the case of my game I submitted the game without press cover, and with specific number of watchers.

I took the numbers of visitors from the Google Analytics, once you submit your game on Steam Greenlight you can monitorize your Steam Greenlight with Analytics.

The number of visitors per day until day 10, are the following:

Day 1: 4352
Day 2: 1684 -61,31 %     
Day 3: 1462 -13,18%
Day 4: 1305 -10,74%
Day 5: 1110 -14,94%
Day 6: 576 -48,11%
Day 7: 469 -18,58%
Day 8: 454 -3,2%
Day 9: 350 -22,91%
Day 10: 543

The percentage is the drop of visitors in relation to the day before.
I think the important part is to know that in your second day the number of visitors will be 61,31% less than the first day.
The game will be stable until the 6 day where the number of visitors will drop again a 48,11%, and then the number the number or visitor will be decreasing slowly.

So like every dev knows, until the five day, you will be well visible on Steam Greenlight but after the 5 day you are alone and your game depends on press release.

This is my little reflexion, I hope this info will be useful to somebody.

InfiniExplorers has reached 68% on Steam Greenlight in ten days, for me is really awesome, InfiniExplorers is near to reach the goal, so I will keep going.

Hi, Thank you for the comment. I only tested the game in a few computers so I can tell you the lowest system configuration that I tried the game:

4 gb RAM, Win 7, Core 2 Quad 2.66 ghz, Geforce nVidia GTX 460 SE.

This is provisional and I'm sure that the game works in lower specifications than this one.

But all depends on the quantity of blocks you place in a planet, that is the reason why I'm working in the transport of goods between planets, the idea is the player use some planets to extract, others to produce new products and other to have the food, oxygen, water... etc. With this idea the number of blocks per planet should be decreased.
