Here are a few screenshots from the latest graphical update. As you can see I have done away with the giant ugly concrete base and given each structure its own one which makes it look much nicer. Also added grass, the terrain now has shadows, and working on the interior of the robot factory complete with access doors.
Nothing has changed in terms of base construction though, there will still be base facilities and external placements too, the difference is that the base's boundary will now be dictated by a boarder rather then the edge of the concrete base.
Of course more detail can always be added, but for now I am perfectly happy and will start to concentrate on adding more content and filling up the tech tree with lots of deliciously evil weapons.
