Description

Before downloading Torn Stars you will need several things. Please make sure you have all the prerequistes prior to attempting to play Torn Stars. Additionally, be aware that installing Torn Stars will overwrite your standard Independence War 2: The Edge of Chaos. You will no longer be able to play the standard game. Prerequisite Components: 1. Independence War 2: The Edge of Chaos. 2. The F14.6 patch (available from the Torn Stars website). 3. Torn_Stars_8_0.exe' file (available from Downloads or the Torn Stars website ) Installing: 1. Install Edge of Chaos. 2. Install the patch to version F14.6 3. Click on the Torn Star setup and let it install Torn Stars. Starting the Game: 1. Double click theTorn Stars icon on your desktop. Press Play on the loader. 2. Once the game has loaded, select "Start New Game" on the main menu. 3. You will find yourself flying in a Life Pod near a shipyard in the Alcuin Star system. Installing:

1. Install Edge of Chaos.

2. Install the patch to version F14.6

3. Click on the Torn Star setup and let it install Torn Stars.
Starting the Game:

1. Double click theTorn Stars icon on your desktop. Press Play on the loader.

2. Once the game has loaded, select "Start New Game" on the main menu.

3. You will find yourself flying in a Life Pod near a shipyard in the Alcuin Star system. This is not a safe place. From this point please refer to the Tutorial and Install guide for more instruction.
