It is planned to have 8 races. The Player plays in the carrier mode as a human , but he can also buy gliders of other races.
The environments that are planned for the challenges are:
-Space
-Water
-Desert
-Snow
-City
-Industrial
-Cyber
-Cliffs
Following game modes are planned:
-career
-racing
-last man standing
-arena
Probably other modes will be added later.
The Sourcecode will be licensed under LGPL.
The Game Content under Creative Commons.

It is more than free it is Open Source. :)
wow awesome way too few games do that these days =D
are you going to release the sources for the songs as well?
I'm sorry to disappoint you, we won't release the sources of the songs.
Nothing wrong with it at all I would love a new sci fi racing game.
Looks like a new Wipeout game, tbh, but that's not always a bad thing :) I'll be keeping my eye on this.
Also, you guys originated and are creating content with Blender? That's what I use for 3D modelling and the like, and where I first really got into the whole game development thing in general. Nice to see fellow Blenders :P
Looking forward to seeing what you guys make :D
if the graphics and track layout are as good as the music, it promises to be just as hypnotic as f-zero.
i salute you.
I love a good racing game, so I'll be tracking. Very nice work so far! :)
