Highly recommended for all fans of the animated show Code Lyoko

IFSCL is the largest and most detailed simulation of the supercomputer that has been created to date. It is undergoing regular updates and revisions, and development is expected to continue for the next several years. I release these beta versions to the fans and community to allow them to enjoy the program and help uncover issues and other bugs as the development continues.

Introduction: Jeremie, the leader of the group, operates a supercomputer interface in an abandoned factory. Using the scanners, he can 'virtualize' his friends, sending them to the virtual world of Lyoko inside the supercomputer. There, they do battle with XANA, an evil artificial intelligence.
One member of their group, Aelita, is the only one capable of deactivating towers on Lyoko. The towers act as a bridge between Lyoko and reality, and are activated by XANA to carry out attacks in the real world.
The towers are found in four 'sectors' of Lyoko: Desert, Forest, Mountain, and Ice. There is also a fifth sector at the center of Lyoko known as Carthage, which is inhabited by XANA. Aelita and her virtualized friends fight monsters, who act as the forces of XANA, as they search for the activated tower on Lyoko so that Aelita may deactivate it. Throughout the mission (campaign mode), Jeremy acts as mission control, guiding and directing the team from outside Lyoko, and this simulation puts you in his shoes.

Languages of the game : French, English (Spanish, Italian,Polish... might be reintroduced in 3.0.0)

The game has originally been made on Flash and is now going on Unity Engine. That's why the game is still named iFscl (F=Flash).

3.0.0 shall be available for Windows, Mac and Linux (though I can't test for Linux version myself)

Obviously, the final game will be as free as the current versions, I don't own any rights on the series, it's a fan creation for the fans.

Today, we celebrate the 5th anniversary of the simulation of the Code Lyoko supercomputer interface :
the IFSCL, still in development, with great news for its future!

IFSCL 5th Anniversary

In the last news, you've been informed that some things were still to be validated before giving you this news, and now, here we are, all of the things I wanted to be sure about are okay, so I can give you that video, made with love, for you:

After watching this video, here's a small recap :

As you might have understood, the IFSCL is currently being entirely remade, directly under the Unity3D engine.
If the version 2.6.2 was already a huge gap in terms of technology (it was an emulation of the flash game under the unity engine, kinda like Nintendo 64 emulation on PC if you like), but this time, everything is re-coded. Lots of animations & arts have also been remade and updated to fit in with the new engine.

Obviously, changing so many things can't be without consequences, one weak point, IFSCL missions (campaign mode) won't come back before a while, because they're slowing down IFSCL development too much. (It's like redoing tutorials again and again, not productive at all, and I'm not talking about the translations & the debugging...)

Big features review :

  • Better overall quality - obviously, with a new shiny engine comes new possibilities, in terms of FX, cameras and more...
  • Better performances for average hardware - Of course you still need a good computer and a good graphic card, (the game only grows up in content, hey!) but the use of this hardware by the game is more efficient than ever
  • 3D Tactical Map! Never been closer than before from the show!
  • 3D Lyokowarriors transfer process! Same as above, if some of the original models are ripped from the original WII game, they've been updated alot to fit in with the new engine, while the older costumes will also need to be completely modeled.
  • 3D LyokoMap! - already visible as a false 3D in the IFSCL menu, this time, it will be real 3D!
  • A new Xana AI, battle and traveling system updated, due to the new 3d tactical map, things will be greatly upgraded!
  • Better resize system also. The interface will fit better to different screens ratios.
  • 32/64 bits versions, 64 bits users will benefit from the full use of their processor!
  • Progressive translations : with the pause of the campaign mode and the new system, new (while incomplete) translations of the game will be easier to add. Whatever is the language.
  • Windows & Mac-OS Compatibility (maybe Linux..), anyway, Mac-OS returns! But still, the performances won't certainly be as good as a windows.

It is pointless to ask what will be added. If it is an important part in the show which it kinda is then it will. But for this to happen Aelita would need to be captured by the Skifazoa then she would need to enter the tower and not be stopped by other warriors. Then enter the code. Also it isn't really something that many people would use sense so many conditions must be met. Also in the process you would basically just sit there and not have your warriors do anything because the possession process does take some time.

I have completed programs that will run IFSCL for you. It only works in Windows and it will enter commands all by itself. Direct Message me to get a copy.

It is a set of 3 programs there are very small and if you want I can also make a custom program that will only run a certain process.

AIR version please? Some of us don't run Windows, and there always used to be an AIR download in addition to the EXE.

...The change means that I've worked a year to move the game from flash platform to untiy platform, meaning that it won't be .air anymore but only .exe. If I hadn't done that change, there wouldn't be any more ifscl at all.

It seems to work well on Wine, you just have to install the dotnet40 winetrick before going in. DirectX install crashes, but it seems to work just fine without.
