An accurate simulation of "The Hunger Games". You're a tribute, fighting intelligent AI in a "battle royal" to be the last person standing. Inspired by the novels by Suzanne Collins and the movies by Lionsgate Films. This is a turned based combat game in 1st person perspective, with Roguelike elements. The randomly generated arenas feature a central "Cornucopia" filled with melee and ranged weapons along with food and other gear, surrounded by wilderness in which one can hide or forage. You may form alliances with the other tributes, and backstab or be backstabbed by your allies. In the preview image (from a special "Audience" standpoint) you can see the semicircle of 24 tributes on their platforms, the central golden Cornucopia, gear in front of and within it, and surrounding landscape containing mountains and waterways. "May the odds be ever in your favor!" :)

Next, you should show off the pedestal distance feature, by showing tributes really close and really far from the pedestals!

Yes, pedestal distance from the Cornucopia will be another customizable setting. :) In this picture, the tributes are 50 squares away from the Cornucopia. In the current version they're always 25 squares away.

it would be cool if the pedestals were like half a block or what ever of the ground because in the movie they aren't just on the flat floor.

Yes, launch platforms that are visibly higher than the ground (along with waterways that are visibly lower than the ground) are high on the list for the next version. :)

True, the game pictured here isn't the 2nd Quarter Quell. This picture demos the "customize tribute count" feature, which makes it so the 2nd Quarter Quell can be reproduced. To actually do the 2nd Quarter Quell, just set the number tributes per district to 4, and leave the number of Districts at 12 (the default), so there will be 48 tributes total.

There's a maximum of 255 slots for tributes and Mutts. The highest number of actual tributes in a 3.0 game is 234 (13 Districts x 18 tributes per district = 234 tributes + 18 mutts = 252 creatures total which fits within the 255 limit).

Description

Version 3.0 allows customizing the number of Districts and tributes per District. For example, the 2nd Quarter Quell that Haymitch won had twice the number of tributes. To do this, press ":" then enter the numbers you want. The game pictured has 13 Districts and 8 tributes per District, for over 100 opponents total! :)
