A rather by the numbers, hack-n-slash game. It does implement survival aspects and crafting but does it so badly its not even worth mentioning it as features. The crafting is pretty much done for you, it gathers everything you need automatically when you click on the "craft this item" button. So your not experimenting or really doing anything except press a button. Linear games don't do survival well, because they have the habit of handing everything the player needs on the one road you take to the objective. Thats especially the case here.

So your not surviving as much as you are collecting **** on the one strict path you take.
Survival requires exploration, requires non-linearity, choices for us to make. There feels like theres no choice here. The occasional dead-end route might wield something but its not noteworthy.
If you set yourself out to be a survival RPG, then you get judged based on the merits of those types of games. If you don't do it well or outright lie about it, your going to be called out on it.

Even the comedic aspect with the whole "Kovac's Rules", is cute and very much in the spirit of XBLA, but here its like a small gem in a big turd that I would stay away from. To many good games out there to waste your time on this.
