Hover x Souls takes place on the planet T-9000. As X-17 you have been sent here to train and grow in strength while mastering the Hover Shield combat system. Flying through the destined path, you will travel through ten interconnected locations. Growing in difficulty, the obstacles ahead will not be easy.

Features

-Unique Hover Shield Mechanic. Using physics, how you orientate the shield under the player has an almost infinite amount of variability in the way it affects X-17. Simple yet difficult to master.

-Day night Cycle

-Companion vehicle that collects resources in background. Find parts to upgrade. Resource levels will be visibly affected as game goes on.

-Ten interconnected locations that grow in difficulty with each level, and eventually loops. Finishing the last location isn't the ultimate challenge. The first location on loop 2 will be harder than level 10 on loop 1.

-Time your bullets correclty to shoot incoming bullets and worms. Using the slow mo skill you can achieve a lot to protect yourself in a short amount of time.

-Use your shield to increase your soul multiplier. The higher it is the more souls you can get and use to upgrade X-17's stats.

-Xbox controller, mouse, or touch screen support.

About the developer

I am a one man team. I do everything from the game design, art, music, programming, and the business side of things. I believe greatly that with my strengths and weaknesses I can create experiences that reflect who I am as a person. I have released two games already on Steam, and I continue to get better at being a game developer. With Hover x Souls I decided to create a simple yet complicated game.
