Homeworld Remastered Collection, the bundled remakes of real-time strategy games Homeworld and Homeworld 2, will hit PC on February 25, Gearbox Software announced today during a panel at PAX South.
The collection goes beyond a simple twosome of remakes: within the collection are not only the Homeworld and Homeworld 2 remastered versions, but the original classic versions of both games as well. Additionally, the developers have merged all playable races from both games and added an online multiplayer component called the Homeworld Remastered Steam Multiplayer Beta, a service in live development designed to bring those once played Homeworld online, well, back home.

I'm hoping for the same pre-order bundle and price on Amazon, preferably as a hard copy CD with Steam validation codes inside.
Anybody else notice the proper shadows cast from one ship onto to another? Not sure what to think about the new UI. Hopefully we can turn off the DoF and any fake post-process antialiasing.
Actually there is credible information from Gearbox developers. There was a modding Q&A that a lot of us from Tanis Shipyards got to ask some questions. Just FYI. ;)
The article has been written before their live conference on Homeworld. Do you have any link or any information about the modding compatibility ? Is it exclusively compatible with the Steam workshop ?

At 8:50 they start talking about modding support.
Am so happy HW and HW2 r coming back but I can't wait till a HW3 come out I hope it do and will HW and HW2 have mod support and will old mods work for it? Love the game can't wait for it.
