Homeworld 2 continues the epic struggle of the Hiigarans and their leader Karan S'jet. Many thought their hardships would end when they returned to Hiigara, yet fate has not been so kind to the Exiles. Now the Hiigarans face a new and bitter enemy, a renegade clan from the eastern fringes of the galaxy, who wield the power of the ancients. Homeworld 2 chronicles the valiant journey of the Mothership and its crew into the oldest regions of the galaxy to confront their new foe and discover the truth behind their exile.
TFS v2.6.0 public beta2 (9/15/09). This is the first release of TFS 3G; the mod is still in the development phase but this release is stable and fully functional. See "read more" for the list of major changes so far.
Major Changes in v2.6.0
Gameplay and Scripts:
- AI build aids game mode option (in development phase)
- Vaygr frigate and corvette research exploit where upgrades and
research becomes available when building certain CVG-103 MWS turrets
has been corrected
- FB-11C and BF-16B Strategic Bomber maximum missile range decreased from 12km to 8km
- Heavy fusion missile, torpedo, ion cannon and some kinetic rounds now have dynamic damage properties
- DDE-73 defense field recharge time has been doubled, DDE-73 MRM-18s fire in bursts of three
- FFD-47 fires anti-frigate EMP bombs, anti-missile shells and has a stronger defense field
- GFT-9 Lance Gunship accuracy against fighters has been increased (20% to 25%)
- Infiltrator and Marine Frigates have stronger EMP shielding
- FFR-33 can no longer repair damaged ships, sensor distortion capability increased from 20% to 40%, anti-missile weapons have been removed
- Shipyard armor has been increased by 200,000 units, Carriers are less vulnerable when attacked from the rear and sides
- Vaygr ASM-70/73, Hiigaran BBIG-78 torpedoes and Vaygr mines have a large blast radius and new burst effect
- CVE-74 armor upgrade is more expensive and longer to research, but can fire LRMs while moving
- Vaygr CVG-103 now has MWS-HLC-9000 Trinity turret build option instead of ASM-50 Turrets, is armed with LRCM-73 cluster missiles by default
- Hyperspace gates require less RUs to build and establish a network
- Vaygr FFG-32 Missile Frigate and Hiigaran FFI-44 Mk.1 and Mk.2 have been improved against capital ships
- Increased unit cap limit for Vaygr CFA-8 Laser Attack Corvettes and Hiigaran CFB-12 Bomber Corvette
- FFP-31 Interceptor Frigate directed EMP now has 100% accuracy against Corvettes and 50% against fighters, weapon effectiveness has been reduced against resource collectors and rear armor has been slightly reduced
- ASM-50 Fusion Missile velocity has been decreased to 750 m/s (originally 900 m/s)
- Excess weapon platforms have been removed; Vaygr now have mobile hyperspace inhibitors
- Fighter SRM rate of fire has been increased to 8 seconds (12.5 originally), MRM rate of fire has been increased to 16 seconds (20 originally)
- Fighters and Corvettes spawn damage FX when they are hit

Are you using an integrated graphics card?
I have a big poblem with playing this mod, every time when the game loads it stops loading on the DustGroupClouds, and exits to the Windows. The same problem was with the older versions.

I realy want to play this mod.
I had that problem and I fixed it by turning Hyperspace quality to LOW
I need help i cant get thid mod to work i installed it and nothing has happeded i tryed all the stuff in the read me file i am running vista
ever since i got homeworld 2 back in 05 ive always considered trying mods, then i found this 1 mod back in 07 to be the best one, as well as my personal favorite. i even help the modders by spreading the news of TFS via the community. guys, keep up the excellent work :D
