if your game has stopped working insert game disk, open up control panel go to ada and remove programs (programs & Features in windows vista) then click on homeworld 2 and tell it to repair, it will place all files back to the correct configuration without deleting your user infomation, test to make sure then game is working then try to install the mod again. . .
I,ve got the same problem, 'cept when im putting -overridebigfile into the target box, vista says it isnt a "valid destination" and halts me. whatever way i do it.
Well, I best download this mod before it gets shut down due to copyright of stealing ships...Thanks for the mod. ^_^
You're quite mistaken PDS created the ships for itself for others to borrow with/without permission. There isn't a full credits list because it would be a few pages long, period.
I am having some problems installing the mod. I put the data file where it needs to be and thats pretty straight forward but i think my shortcut might not be right.

also would it make a difference that i had a different mod installed via a .big only copyied my homeworld game to a new folder as the above link shows. would that interfere with a clean mod install?
Does it break my HW2 installation?
It seems to replace many files.

Can somebody tell me where the download is? I can't see a v13 download anywhere.

can someone tell me what I have written uncorrect, I put the data folder in to the homeworld Data folder. Homeworld starts normally and there aren't any changes.

It don't work
not good with data folder. big file are better. i have a another mod in the "Game Data" Folder. can't have 2 mod with folder? or making a big file (PDS 7.0 is an .big)
i have tested. that's working but ships is to powerfull. the old PDS is better. and other problems: The AI, his make nothing, (yes sh'es attack but not developing) recources collector d'ont move and product no unit.
can somebody please explain how to do this step by step without all the it jargon...please.

EVERYBODY!! To install Unzip to "C:Program FIles\Sierra\Homeworld 2\ not "C:Program FIles\Sierra\Homeworld 2\Data. Then add the -overridebigfile to the end of the new shortcut.
The problem I have with this mod is that whenever i try to move a capital ship it cancels the order instantly, same with hyperspace and attack. Then it goes off and starts attacking something I dont want it to attack.
