Description:
Wanna fly your Hiigaran / Vaygr Ships under different Flags? Do you want to fight your favorite factions and countries? Do you want to get Command & Conquer, Emperor, Freelancer, Ground Control, Homeworld, O.R.B., various Corporations, Countries, Military, Star Wars, Stargate and X-universe get involved into the Homeworld 2 game?! Well, here's the solution! With the entire collection counting over 200 Badges for all kind of games and all kind of fractions you get the ultimative Homeworld 2 Badge Pack!
How I came to this?
Honestly, I was very upset not to find proper Homeworld 2 Badge Packs in the vast internet. I wanted to fight GDI against NOD in space, wanted to destroy the EA Empire by the hands of the WESTWOOD Rebellion! Leading back the Northern Star Alliance from their exile to avenge the fall of the Virons on Morningstar Prime through the evil Terran Empire! Exterminating the soulless Xenon-Terraformers, which brought death and pain to the X-Universe!
However, there was none. At least none Badge pack counting over 30 Badges. By then I didn't knew there was a way to make custom badges. Later I get to know about it. So I started to create my own Badges - and there were many, many badges I wanted to create! In the end, it took two days, to gather all the symbols, logos and images of my favorite game-fractions.
Here's the result: About 227 Badges representing 17 different Games, as well as the Stargate Series included and several corporations, from Acer to Windows. Also flags of various countries all around the world and of course, it's military. (Some of them let guess you where I come from^^)
And recently I reworked old badges, colouring them and adding some cute Homeworld Ship Tans to the collection. Explanation follows down there.
Installation:
Just copy and paste the .tga-files to your homweworld2\bin\profiles\badges directory and enjoy!
Make own Badges:
Best thing is to use Paint.NET (freeware).
Make a .tga-file with the size 64x64, set it to 32-bit and DEACTIVE compressing! Then save it into the folder mentioned above.
Note: Do not name your file too long, otherwise it cannot be used!
