Pilot a jumping tank through a maze of underground caverns and dungeons in search of new abilities you'll need to progress deeper into the levels. Each upgrade is hidden out of reach of your tank, and can only be obtained after exploring on foot. (This game is inspired by a certain NES game which I love) SPECIAL NOTE: 2 Free keys to anyone that agrees to make a youtube video of the game!

If you've played the co-op of months past, you might have noticed the occasional odd bug here and there. Enemies wouldn't sync, sometimes two music tracks would play at once, and if you lost all your lives you might have found yourself spawning very far back.

Well, I wanted to let you know that the experience has been vastly improved. All those bugs have been fixed. Multiplayer would even occasionally crash while playing on Linux, and the source of that bug has also been uncovered and squashed.

If you haven't tried co-op out yet, you really should, it's very fun!

A New Ability

Helena the 3rd now has a new ability, which you can currently only access through the level editor, but once activated, pressing z will give you a temporary shield that absorbs all damage.
This will be used to get through the lava in stage 5, leading to the ice world of stage 6.

Shield

After that, look forward to a grappling hook being added in game in the near future!

New Worlds

Along with these new abilities. We now have a new level designer! Keith Garry is joining us, and is already honing his skills by creating some bonus levels for the game!

New Music!

Last but not least, our music composer has created new tracks for levels 3 and 4, the water and lava levels. Give them a listen! You can also check out more of his work over at Mikecharlesmusic.com

I keep trying to double-jump to activate hover, but no matter how many times I try, it just won't hover. I'm playing in single-player on the first 3D platforming area.

EDIT: Oh and downloaded it off of the site, rather than through the client, and all I can find is the PC version. How would I go about finding the Mac/Linux versions?

And is there a way to activate true full-screen? All I can do is maximize the window.

Did you pick up the hover ability? Like a metroidvania game, some abilities can't be used until you find them in the game.

As to the standalone linux and OSX versions, those are down until Desura authorizes them, as they were just recently updated.

No full screen in this game, only windowed mode.

Ah, gotcha. It wasn't really clear that I needed to. All that I noticed was that I got to a point where I had to hover over some spikes and I couldn't figure out how to hover.

EDIT: By not clear, I mean that I hadn't found it and the instructions had only said "double-jump to hover" with no indication that you needed to find it.

And thanks for the other replies.

Alright, thanks!

Oh, and on a Mac that is overqualified, run on Windows 8 RC through Bootcamp, the game is lagging like crazy (EDIT: If I had to estimate, it might be running at 5-7 FPS). I heard tell that certain DX9 applications might be slower, but since Win8 is approaching fast, I thought you might want to know.

So you're saying that the game is laggy with Windows 8? Yes we aren't very big fans of windows 8, so that doesn't concern us much, sorry :/

Oh I'm not a huge fan of it either, and definitely won't be upgrading. Just was trying it out and thought I'd mention that it doesn't seem to play nice with the game.

A very nice "Remake" (Inspired a lot by old NES's Classic Blaster Master). We don't really see those a lot of games in the area as this one these days and this one owes a great 10/10
