I like it, but a path would contain less rocks, no?
Also, are there going to be invisible walls?

depends on what kind of path it is, looks more like an animal path than a human made road to me

The Cry engine was built to give the developers the opportunity to create vast islands that are completely accessible, pretty much like in Far Cry 3. So I think you can expect that in the final version:) I believe Fase II ir 2.5 is just a small island with maybe some basic interactions/towns/harbors etc.

The game is fully explorable, from top to bottom of an island, you can make it walking :)

With these gorgeous land-based settings and the awesome naval mechanics you've been showing us, the game will be legendary. Hats off to you gentlemen!

By the time this game is done I hope to have a rig that can support it.

Pardon me for my presumption, but now that you're showing us islands will you also soon be showing off the on foot mechanics? Sword fighting? Looking forward to this project!

"...will you also soon be showing off the on foot mechanics? Sword fighting?"
We will as soon as we can. But we haven't got anyone focusing on that aspect of the game just yet.
