Your husband is dead in a tragic accident. Your life seems pointless and without direction. Lost in your sadness, you find an invitation to Cliffhouse Bed and Breakfast, a sanctuary of peace and serenity in your time of grief. It seems like an idyllic retreat from the world... a place to unwind, relax and let go of the misery that haunts you. But from the moment you ring the check-in bell, you are thrown into a world of mystery, family secrets and tragic history that will take you through time to unravel the buried scandals of the long-dead family dynasty who shaped the very coastline on which you stay. Logging and love, mythology and magic, art and artifice; all conspire to turn your dream into a nightmare.

If your idea of horror is jumpscares, then maybe so... but if you enjoy a deeper more ambient horror - the atmospheric brooding type that works more off psychology than surprise, then there is a long storied tradition of point and click horror games to enjoy - they really can e quite creepy and very unnerving -- its good stuff!! Horror works far better when you scare the deeper consciousness and not just the short term reactionary stuff on the surface... Im totally in!

There's a ton of great Point n Click horror games: Barrow Hill, Scratches, Darkness Falls and more.

I long for a remake of clock tower, clock tower 3 wasn't bad but I hated the judgement system. Nothing has scared me more in a game than the sound of those scissors that made you realise you had to find somewhere to hide quickly. I really hope an indie game developer makes something like it but not too much that they get in trouble for copyright issues.

It is more like a gothic adventure but horror was the closest choice I had.
