Halo Wars: Definitive Edition is an enhanced version of the real-time strategy classic, Halo Wars, updated to run natively on PC.
This mod adds some units from the campaign and adds some completely new ones to play with in skirmish games. There are some other changes aswell.
How to install:
1. Have an unmodded fully updated version of the game.
2. Put MOM folder anywhere you like. (I recommend somewhere safe)
3. Put ModManifest.txt in C:/Users/<Username>/AppData/Local/Halo
4. Edit the ModManifest.txt so it points to the MOM folder. (E.g. C:/Users/Public/MOM)
5. Have fun!
Changes:
Player colors switched.
UNSC Pop cap = 80.
UNSC Spartan limit 5.
Covenant Pop cap = 100.
All level 3 bases will have 4 bonus turret spots.
You can now choose to build a level 2 or 3 base right away, but with extra cost.
You can now choose to build a turret with an upgrade instead of just a turret.
All leaders start with 2 starting units.
UNSC has upgrades for the rebel units.
Covenant has the medic upgrade.
Covenant has the adrenaline upgrade.
Scarabs can be hijacked by spartans. (Work in progress)
Added new building menus for both UNSC and the Covenant where some of the new buildings can be built.
Merged some of the new buildings to the old ones by adding a new Menu Toggle feature.
All Covenant leaders start with level 3 bases.
Both the UNSC and Covenant have new infantry upgrades that make units start at 1-5 veterancy.
New UNSC Units:
Rebel Infantry
4 Rebel soldiers.
Cost: 1 Power and 100 Resources. (+Medic with upgrade)
Rebel Infantry2
3 Rebel soldiers + 2 snipers.(+Medic with upgrade)
Cost: 2 Power and 300 Resources.
Rebel Sniper
2 Rebel sniper soldiers. (+Additional sniper with upgrade)
Cost: 1 Power and 150 Resources.
Red Team
3 Spartan super soldiers armed with rocket launcher, machine gun and spartan laser.
Cost: 4 Power and 1300 Resources.
Sgt. Forge
Sergeant Forge armed with his shotgun.
Cost: 1 Power and 200 Resources.
Limited to 1 Forge.
Sgt. Forge2
Sergeant Forge in his Warthog.
Cost: 3 Power and 300 Resources.
Limited to 1 Forge.
Anders
Anders armed with her pistol and she can repair any ground vehicle.
Cost: 1 Power and 150 Resources.
Limited to 1.
Marine Scouts
Small lightly armored marine scout team. They are faster than any other infantry unit.
Pelican
Pelican transport ship that can carry units across the battlefield.
Can carry 6 units max. (Health and carrying capasity can be upgraded from the airpad)
Cost: 1 Power and 300 Resources.
Rhino
Long range artillery tank.
Cost: 2 Power and 450 Resources.
Has an upgrade that will increase its HP and Damage. (Can be purchased from Field Armory.)
New Covenant Units:
Hunter/Grunt Squad
4 Grunts + 2 hunters + elite. (+Medic with upgrade)
Cost: 2 Power and 350 Resources.
Jackal/Grunt Squad
3 Grunts + 2 jackals + elite. (+Medic with upgrade)
Cost: 1 Power and 200 Resources.
Elite Squad
5 Elites. (+Medic with upgrade)
Cost: 225 Resources.
Elite Squad 2
3 Elites + 3 Needler elites. (+Medic with upgrade)
Cost: 1 Power and 250 Resources.
Needler Elite
2 Needler Elites. (+Medic with upgrade)
Cost: 1 Power and 125 Resources.
Elite Scouts
Small lightly armored elite scout team. They are faster than any other infantry unit.
Spirit (Now works, thanks to bbc6rgf 57 ytty5 y xy w5gt)
Spirit transport ship that can carry units across the battlefield.
Can carry 6 units max. (Health and carrying capasity can be upgraded from the summit page 2)
Cost: 1 Power and 300 Resources.
New Building for the new upgrades.

I found a bug. Whenever i start a new match the rhino tank dosent show, it's just invisible. Hope you can fix this. love the mod.
I have only heard/seen one other occurrence of this bug. I dont know what is causing it. But thanks for the feedback!
Super Scarab doesn't build, even with 5 power, 80 population cap leftover and 15K resources. Has a 'can't build error sound' when you try to build it. Patch? Or are there special prerequisites that isn't listed in the mod?

Cant do step 3 ive tried all i can and cant find it
In the search box on the taskbar, type folder, and then select Show hidden files and folders from the search results.
Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select OK.
That should fix it.
you have done a great job with this mod but I have a problem with that since when I installed said mod it does not work I do not see any changes in the game after following the instructions of the mod
the mod you made is great so I can see that you can do
but after finishing with the installation of said mod there is no change has no effect on my game :/

do you have a modded root.era and xgamefile?i need them for mods becuz normal how doesnt works in my version
