About ARRANGEMENT with 1 comment by SysOp. on Mar 2nd, 2015

We have been using Dropbox for colaboration, basically, the game's folder is hosted in there.

Together, with programs like DSyncronize, we basically have the binaries in a cloud where we, the developers, can add and edit files with ease. RED_NED uploads a map, we all automatically get it. Updated .dlls? Ready for use for in seconds.

However, some of the developers got stuck at 2 GB. And game's folder is now way bigger than that. That means they won't be able to keep syncronizing files past those 2 GB.

And now it comes you. Basically, we would like you to help us joining Dropbox by the referral link. By installing Dropbox, you and the developer get an additional 500 MB. We will never ask for money.

For an easy breakdown, and status of the referrals which will be updated, please find below the members (arranged by priority) and the corresponding referral links. We would need four bonuses per person but more are welcome:

It's been a while since we asked for help. When I needed some about this matter, people at the forums gave me an additional 4 GB, so I would like to take the opportunity to thank those involved.

And a few images in case you didn't make up your mind.
What are so special about them? They are 4k ;)

Big thanks in advance to anyone who can help us. Benefactors will be included in-game credits. If you for some reason can't, no worries, we still love you.

(EDIT) BREAKING NEWS: We have been featured in inDEV. These guys are going to talk at GDC 2015 about projects from Argentina, ARRANGEMENT included. More info will be disclosed later.

I've been thinking of writing a tutorial on open world mod development in GoldSource. Would anyone be interested in this? I would give code tutorials on useful entities and how to make NPCs work better in an open world environment, as well as stuff like making better day/night cycles.

Yes Blue shift is very fun. Not nearly as good as Opposing Force though. IMO Opposing Force felt like a professionally made commercial game, where Blue shift felt more like a mod.

They didn't release any standalone game! However one of their mods (Redemption) was included with an old version of Counter-Strike.

Run. Think. Shoot. Live.In Half-Life, players assume the role of the protagonist, Dr. Gordon Freeman, a recent MIT graduate in theoretical physics, and also a recent employee at Black Mesa. After an experiment that goes horribly awry when an unexpected Resonance Cascade (an apparently completely fictitious occurrence) rips dimensional seams that devastate the facility, Gordon must fight to escape the now alien-infested facility as creatures from another world — known as Xen — subsequently enter…
