Yes im sure its his because I played it before "Xen Warrior" came out and that mod is just a cheep copy off of this one
By cheap do you mean worse or a rip-off. Because playing as an alien grunt would be different yes BUT!!!!!! you get the hornet gun in normal half life so in a way you would just be an alien with a gun that you all ready get in hl1 and hls. This mod is even better than valve's vortigaunt misson on hl1 ps2 (because you only get claws and eletrical attack) but in this one you get alien weapons.

Theres some really great level design in this mod, shame it was never finished. Theres no official walkthrough and many of the maps are just mazes filled to the brim with areas you dont need to go to. To end the mod, they just made a base level with no way out of it, which is not my idea of an ending at all! So im sayinhg 3/10 - really good mod, but confusing and unfinished!
this mod is awesome...i wish someone would make a Garg Warrion or Garg of View....where you play as garg.....you can eat sicentist,push cars,kill tanks,breake walls that would be the AWESOMEST mod ever
theres something like that for garrys mod. ( i know GMOD is source but you can take control of hl1 NPCS. its awesome)

I got it it's soo cool great job!
It was a good mod for such a small dev team, but it has some bad problems that should have been fixed over the years.
1) First, all of the maps were pretty dark (I can understand Xen being dark, but most all of the Lambda complex was so dark I had to use the Vortigaunt vision most of the time.)
2) All of the maps were extremely poorly built, and had zero optimization anywhere. There was ludicrous detail in almost pitch black areas and not enough detail in areas which were somewhat visible. Some of the larger areas had over 4000 W_Poly and were almost unplayable due to the engine being crippled (it was never designed to render that much.)
3) The AI was pretty buggy and didn't make sense. You could easily circle strafe humans, and they'd take so long to turn around that you could easily kill them before they had a chance to attack.
Also, having some of the Xen Vortigaunts and Grunts being hostile doesn't make sense, there was no plot element to it, and having to figure out which were enemies and which weren't was a pain to say the least.
There were various other tidbit annoyances, but those were the brunt of it. I know it's nearly a decade late and probably won't be fixed, but it's good to get it out there.
