Winner of over 50 Game of the Year awards, Half-Life set new standards for action games when it was released in 1998.

Half-Life: Source is a digitally remastered version of the critically acclaimed and best selling PC game, enhanced via Source technology.

It is a straight port, lacks any new content or the Blue Shift High Definition pack. Includes vertex and pixel shaders for more realistic water effects, as well as Half-Life 2's realistic physics engine and all other goodies and improvements introduced by Source engine.

Well after searching for the HD Pack for Half-Life Source, I finally found it. The name is High Definition Source Project and they are porting the HD Pack for HL:S.

This adds the HD models and view models and much more to Half Life: Source like the one on the original version that has death animations. Have fun!

No, because Half-Life mods run on GoldSource, the engine that Half-Life runs on. This is Half-Life: Source, with a different engine.

Seriously no downloads or mods for this? Even if it's just Half life 2 ports?
There has to be more then just reskins of the ugly Gearbox models.

Check out my custom enhanced shaders mod that is ONLY for the Source version of HL1. It does nothing for the textures, but adds some great GPU-based effects that really help.

Also, there ARE some good textures available from the Facepunch "Gold to Source Model Porting Thread" and from FPS Bananna -- check the 'Strelok' improvement packs.

These texture packs are used in the videos and screens for the above-mentioned mod.

B/c nobody (except cptobvious - Moddb.com) had the time to put it up here on Moddb?

C'mon people, you can add COMMERCIAL games to Moddb YOURSELVES. -_- Valve won't come in here and do it themselves.

Their better off with "Super Definition" content as the HD stuff hasn't aged well.
Most mods for HL:Source are just reskinned Gearbox models. Although it is surprisingly easy to port content from Half Life 2.

You really are a fan of the original Half-Life? Much? You want play it with better graphics? awwww, sorry, but this isn't your game. This only is lazy port made in 2004 with the original bugs of the normal Half-Life and a lot of new ones, also the graphics no are better and only adds a few graphic effects for look more cool (Say hi Halo Anniversary) This "port" only is cool for the content in Gmod and laugh with the stupids bugs and the physics, the game solo is boring and craps totally the original…
