Made by Gearbox Software and originally released in 2001 as an add-on to Half-Life, Blue Shift is a return to the Black Mesa Research Facility in which you play as Barney Calhoun, the security guard sidekick who helped Gordon out of so many sticky situations.

Great expansion but kind of underwhelming compared to Opposing force less weapons and a shorter campaign. and this was released after opposing force. still a great game though.

As the 2nd Addon to Half-Life, Blue Shift really does not have to add any new fangled weapons or elements to bring you a good Half-Life Experience.

Barney Calhoun, The guard who helped Gordon Freeman many times is as close to being a security guard in Half-Life as you will get.

Though it plays as An Stand-Alone game, Blue-Shift clears the air about the confusion of what occured Between Opposing Force, and Decay.

Another atmospheric adventure in the collapsing research facility. A bit short game expansion, but well written and designed piece.

Good classic HL addon, but a little boring...

Blue shi(f)t... Blush!, if... Gearbox suddenly lost all their talent gained during OpFor :(

Very short and nothing new.

It was a great storyline, but didn't add any new gameplay or weapons, but i guess it did come with the hd pack but it isn't that good.

ok game really.
it is enjoyable but not that kind of game you would play constantly.

you kill women spy's at one point of the game(who will try to kill you).
it is way to short.

A very short but fun game good to see Blackmesa through the eyes of someone other than Gordon Freeman lacks a bit of content but all in all a very fun game.

Otherwise very good, but Blue Shift is just too short; it took me about 2 hours to complete it.
