Pick up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa. And a lot of people, people he cares about, are counting on him.

I learnt a hell of a lot from this. To think that I had always created metal textures using mostly filters. Never again I say! Excellent tutorial!

I just started learning Photoshop and I've seen two other tutorials, one from a book and one from Game-Artist.net and I have to say this is much more hands on and produces a much better end result than the render>cloud method.

If you can't think of the next one to do, a quick glass, wood or tiling petterned floor texture would be good.

I'll have to say this is probably one of the best texture creation tuts on the web. I learned more in those 30 minutes then using how to: books over the past year. Just goes to show theres no substitue for seeing someone do it and explainning the steps.

Thank you a lot for making this VTM, I'm finally able to turn all those texture ideas in my head into viable game content. Kudos! :)
