Pick up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa. And a lot of people, people he cares about, are counting on him.
3 words: Buy. This. Game. The immersiveness of the suppresed life on Earth after the events of Half-Life, is breathtaking. The action is fluid and non-stop. From running for your life to throwing soldiers with the Gravity Gun. The characters are likeable and feel as if they are real. The lipsync system of the Source engine displays a wide range of life-like emotions. The graphics of this game are the most realistic I have ever layed eyes on. Even today the visuals are breathtaking. This game is very well crafted by the talented employees at Valve!

Sadly it never ends for Gordon Freeman, he is gaming worlds Jack Bauer, consistently going from one bad day to the next. No sooner have you blown up the head of the Xenian Nihilanth and discussed career prospects with the mysterious G-Man than he tosses you in the mix again. Another train ride another mysterious situation leaving Gordon (and you the gamer) none the wiser, but thats what we like about the Half-life series and all it's canonical universe, Valve will always give you a Palm d'or plot…
