Starting Out news - Half-Life 2

Judging by the amount of content on my account, you may have guessed that this is the first mod that I've made. So far I'm enjoying it, apart from being told that my corridors are too narrow. I've learnt a fair amount as well, as you'd expect. I've got my head around Hammer, and found out that Windows 7 isn't a big fan of VTFEdit and Face Poser.

The mod itself at the moment is just a load of untextured rooms and streets. Some of it I've finished to a rather low standard, such as the hallway shown in the header. There's a couple of small assaults between you and the combine, but their all short and easy for the time being. In my head, I've got an decent idea of what's going to happen during the game, all the ideas of which have come to me in the shower, as all the best ones usually do.
