Pick up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa. And a lot of people, people he cares about, are counting on him.
Source Engine Co-Operative Base Modification (Seco7 for short) is a modification designed solely for Half Life 2 MP SDK Modification Teams to add additional features quickly and easily into their newly created Source Engine 2007 Half-Life 2 Multiplayer modifications. While no true support is given, if you do run into problems the best place for answers is the steam coding forums. It adds support for such features as AI, Multiplayer Vehicle Support, Player Classes (with custom class attributes), Dynamic Valve Game Mounting (including Portal content), Level Transitions with Save and Restore Functionality and much, much more. The archive also contains a compiled modification, allowing you to see for yourself the co-operative base in action. Though of course, you'll do so much better and more with it than the example maps given.
good news ;']
Why do you need VS2010 for this to work?
You can use 2008 (as stated in the wiki :P - and even 2005 should work) it's just you'll have to make your own vcproj files up for it.
Nice idea and nice work.
MANY THANKS for this mate, you done awesome job.
so... its a Source SDK for multiplayer games? cool
can someone reupladit? the link its broken
sry, sry isnt broken
Gamefront says "Page not Found"
and can't download Seco7......
any new links? PLease?
As long as you're logged in when you download, it should download off the moddb servers, failing that click mirror options on the download options box, and select the moddb server that way.
As far as I'm aware it's gamefronts problem to sort out, since they're external of moddb.
Moddb server downloads of seco7 still work fine :)
Hi, I need a little help: Every time I want to use the patch, it says that I use an other version of the ...cpp file. I created the a fully new mod with Source SDK with using 2007 engine. (but it is very strange that under the engine line there was no any game)
I want to finsh somehow my rewolfenstein mod: Moddb.com I needed to freeze it again, because I cannot find a simple (and trustable) coder.
Is there any patched version of the codes?
Its not working to download it. Please re-upload or give me a link to a mirror link. Gamefront don't have the download >:|
