This project as far as Total annihilation would allow was completed, I have now begun expanding on the original concept into what the spring engine can handle. With all that I have originally planned for the total annihilation TC completed, I now carry the project further and closer to a true work of fan art, improving models and improving gameplay. Some models already have been updated or replaced where as others are still the same. Feel free to post comments on the models or anything related to the project here.
Why are there two Gundam profiles:
As you well know this very same project is also registered for Total annihilation. However after reaching 1.0 the mod has split into two branches. Gundam Annihilation(more for ta) and Gundam RTS(game for the engine spring). Gundam Annihilation 1.0 is not released to the Total Annihilation community but gundam spring is. Gundam RTS will continue to grow as spring gives me more features.
One Big thing of note is that unlike Total Annihilation, the Spring engine is FREE and that means that this project is more readily accessible then the Total Annihilation counterpart.
Again, spring is a free rts engine, with many games, ta mods and a good gundam game that I am working on! How can you go wrong with a free gundam RTS!

So I am moving over the next month or so. As such I figured I should let you guys know what has been going on since it has been a month since I posted something.
There has been a lot of discussion about things that need to be changed about GRTS and improved. People have cited everything from the ui still being difficult to the fact that I mislabeled the rgm 79[g] as having a 120mm. Well I have been listening but stuff like a new ui is going to take a bit. Even though work is coming slow I do not want you to think I ignore your feedback. It is quite the opposite.
Some thoughts as of late are the following:
Your health bars will be team colored and always visible on enemy units. This is also being done in the interest of another planned feature and because I think it looks silly. I want zaku1s to be a proper color, char's gelgoog should not have splashes of color, it is char's gelgoog!

- a capable anti-air fighter, will have a missile barrage special where it will fire it's 12 missiles at 1 target!

- an extremely fragile yet powerful AA unit.
Don Escargot
- No, I didn't make the name up. It is a torpedo bomber. Should help the federation players defend against the zeon amphibs.
I have been doing assorted other models for scenery in the maps and will be doing a LOT more code work when I return and continue refining GRTS. I know news has been slow lately and it will be slow for the next month but I wanted to tell you guys what is going on.
Oh hey if anyone out there is a modeler... I could always use the help of a decent low poly guy... just putting that out there...

ATTENTION
There is a pretty nasty bug under Vista which is outside of the purview of Gundam RTS, we apologize, but Smoth can't do anything about it as it isn't anything he has done wrong.
Vista's UAC breaks some gamedata checks when certain files are referenced from Program Files. If you are getting an error message which mentions anything missing from gamedata, for example, gamedata/parce_tdf.lua, this is being caused by Vista. Install to some other, un-"protected" directory, and play from there.

Why not disable the UAC then? It only does that when its left activated.
Not sure I would be fond of telling people to do that but it is more an issue with permissions that I *believe* go beyond uac.

Aah question... Do i need to DL all the maps?If so where do I find them?
You do not need to download them all but I would recommend having them.

That map is GRTS_Rivervalley05, I have since moved to 06, it is a work in progress. It may be getting a release soon.
