This project as far as Total annihilation would allow was completed, I have now begun expanding on the original concept into what the spring engine can handle. With all that I have originally planned for the total annihilation TC completed, I now carry the project further and closer to a true work of fan art, improving models and improving gameplay. Some models already have been updated or replaced where as others are still the same. Feel free to post comments on the models or anything related to the project here.
Why are there two Gundam profiles:
As you well know this very same project is also registered for Total annihilation. However after reaching 1.0 the mod has split into two branches. Gundam Annihilation(more for ta) and Gundam RTS(game for the engine spring). Gundam Annihilation 1.0 is not released to the Total Annihilation community but gundam spring is. Gundam RTS will continue to grow as spring gives me more features.
One Big thing of note is that unlike Total Annihilation, the Spring engine is FREE and that means that this project is more readily accessible then the Total Annihilation counterpart.
Again, spring is a free rts engine, with many games, ta mods and a good gundam game that I am working on! How can you go wrong with a free gundam RTS!

So it has been a while since I posted something new. I guess I should go ahead and say something. So I have been kinda busy with some IRL stuff. However, as you guys can see below, yet another unit has been modelled.

As with the zaku2/zaku1/gouf, this paves the way for the base of several models including the rx-79 and ez-8 which are next on the list of work to be done and really only represent some model changes and a few bits of new geometry here and there. Kinda cool IMO.

hi i downloaded your gundam rts and seed quite recently, but i keep getting a message telling me 'GUNDAM_Installer_Version.sd7' is not a valid map/mod it may be corrupted, try to redownload it
ive downloaded it about another 2 times and am still getting the same problem, any ideas?
oh and just out of curiosity, on your site it says "I do not plan on Gundam Wing or Seed".
now i can understand Seed because it failed completely but dont you ever think about how awesome Gundam Wing would be? (as i said before just out of curiosity lol)
well great job on the game, although i havent got to play it yet it looks pretty sweet and i will look forward to it once i get past this annoying problem lol

The version that comes with the spring installer is outdated, the version on my website is the most up to date version.
will there be navy units eventually? there was in fact navy in the 0079 series!
There will not be navy units. I have in my source art folders two water specific ships, the jungle boat and some random federation cruiser ship. Zeon has submarines under water MA but they are not suited for this type of gameplay.
Sorry man, gundam does not have the source material nor do I desire to do a naval combat subtree.

spring needs a simple ai whitch just mines and expands and defends. no attacking so i get pwn3d evry time...
well, up until recently it was all me but I have KDR_11k helping me now also. He did the dom, vulcan truck, missile car and AA car models. That helps a lot as all that was left was texturing and modeling. Along with the code for the new econ.
Also the AI is not so useful for missions as it is just a spawner that creates units to fight. Missions are possible via scripts but that takes a lot of work and up until the version I am working on now the unit names were not consistent. Now that this is corrected missions are definitely a possibility. :) However, I cannot promise any missions as the current focus is getting a good and fairly balanced version out so people can play.
As odd as this sounds, I am doing singleplayer stuff after I get all the multiplayer ready. I know usually people bother with singleplayer first. :P
