The shop is a bit of a prototype, but it's working out alright for my purposes so far. My first weapon is called the LightBead, and it's a light, weak weapon that will be fairly cheap enough to purchase. I have a light tracking mechanism in place that allows for accurate weapon aiming without having to have a dual stick controller or a mouse and keyboard setup. I might still allow for those as alternative control schemes, though, in case not everyone likes using just a keyboard for control.
