Grey is an infinite, randomly generated obstacle dodging game that allows the player full free roam of the entire screen. Grey features an ever growing amount of obstacles including things such as lasers, rain, smashing pillars, and many more creating a new and interesting experience with every play. In Grey, your aim is to last for as long as possible based off of the in-game timer. Grey uses Google Play services to host global high scores and achievements. To get on the high score boards you must log in using your Google+ account. Your high score is also saved locally meaning just because you haven't logged in, doesn't mean your best achievements aren't saved. Grey keeps track of your last 10 scores and gives you an average score based on these. the better your scores, the better your average.

Leap Motion Support

News

As Grey is a fairly simple game it was decided that we would try to add things that aren't normally seen in other obstacle dodging games.

With this in mind and a leap motion device on my desk, it was decided that it would be a cool feature to have. As this is only available on windows and mac platforms, it also became apparent that for this to work a windows version would need to be made.

The first problem with leap motion is that it is not natively supported by Game Maker. However a Game Maker Community member happened to ave made a DLL that added the functionality needed and 15 minutes later fully functioning leap motion control was added to Grey.
