Gremlin Invasion: Survivor is done, tested and ready for release - but I have yet to hear back from Desura, the digital distribution company where we hope to sell Gremlin Invasion: Survivor. I hesitate to set a new release date since that is no longer in my hands, but take comfort in the fact that the game is completed and will be for sale the second it can be.
You might be wondering why we don't just use another method for distribution, such as a simple "Buy Now" button that takes you to Google Checkout. Well, the answer is simple. We plan to release many new features in the future in addition to whatever patches may be necessary, and to make the updating process as easy as possible for the end users, we want to use a service that automatically handles updates. And although several digital distribution services exist, we'd really like to use Desura as the primary service.
All that being said, we are still extremely excited for the release of Gremlin Invasion: Survivor. With this extra time we have before the release, we will be coming up with new achievements and testing non-stop to ensure the delivery of a solid finished product.
