Interim release for the Knight Rider mod for GTA San Andreas.
As there is currently no progress on the mod, this is an interim release to show the public what has been completed of the mod so far. The next release will be 0.3a.
It has not been extensively beta tested, so if you come across any bugs, please report them at our forums, located at the bottom of this post. Thank you.
Included in this mod is KITT (Seasons 1 and 4 as well as the Pilot episode version), KARR (Seasons 1 and 3), KIFT, SPM KITT, Knight 3000 (Pilot and Season 1), Knight 3000 Attack (Pilot and Season 1), GMC General (FLAG Semi Cab), FLAG Semi Trailer, Goliath, Goliath's Trailer, Michael Long's Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, an original Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, and the Ram from the Episode 'Knight of the Juggernaut'.

my game crashes after the begining clip, I've installed the version 0.2b, does anybody suffer the same problem???
I had this problem initially. I am not suggesting you do this, it may result differently for you. I uninstalled the mod, tried installing it manually (took ages) and as a last resort even re-installed San Andreas. I thought I had lost all my mods, but for some reason they remained. To the point, I eventually realized that a single CLEO mod, the skin changer mod to be precise, was causing my game to do exactly what yours is doing. Upon deleting it, my game worked again. If you've installed skin changer, or perhaps another CLEO mod that uses an .img file, try removing it (back it up in case it doesn't fix it) and hopefully this will solve your problem.

now it works, I've reinstalled the game and the mod, before sohuld have a mistake in the installation, thanks anyway
Hi, KITT u will b pleased to know that I have worked out the problem it is AUDIO that is the problem because when I go on sanny builder with for example: turbo boost and remove the audio line so it doesn't try and load the audio it works and turbo boost is active this is the same with the other *.cs files that are in the mod so I'm trying to work out a way to fix this but if u already know please contact me jordanmctiffin@hotmail.co.uk. This is awesome. First i downloaded the torrent for GTA SA and after that the mod. Easy to complete missions when you need a car.. lol
How do you find weather your san andreas is a V1 or a V2
im not sure, but im told it should say on the main menu if it's V2
Can someone seriously help me. I have a v1 of the san andreas and whenever i put the knight rider mod v0.2b And on the game it starts when i put new game and the computer get stuck or the game crashes. Pls help me and reply to Aktharrox@gmail.com
does it crash while loading or after loading?

KITT it's crash after loading (8,01 or 8,02 on the watch)

well it should work with any V1 San Andreas with any language. i bought the russian version of the game (long story, cheap on ebay :P)
I saw one thing in the mod, look at the nose of the kitt s4 by the sides, it's different than the other like kitt T-top and cabriolet and s2 or s1, it's different even the kitt s4 of the mod 0.2A. look it closely and tell me if you can see, because I'd like to change that skin for the skin of 0.2A, but I'm not sure for the scanner. thanks

He instalado y probado este nuevo Mod del KR... pero siempre me salta una duda.
Con los autos instalados en el juego GTA SA hay autos que de vez en cuando aparecen con algo extra... como KITT aveces aparece con las láminas del techo y en otras ocasiones no.
Mi pregunta es... ¿si pueden poner estos extras a cada auto en el juego, podrán hacerlo mismo con los Autos del Mod KR?... quiero decir que en lugar de estar reemplazando el Primo, Tampa, BF Injection entre otros... porque no hacer un DFF de un solo auto con todas estas variables.. sabemos que un KITT es único.. pero al poner sus diferentes versiones en autos comunes(los de mayor circulación en las calles del GTA SA) como los que ya mencioné creo que le quitamos un poco el gusto.
No digo que el Mod esté mal, al contrario son geniales y de verdad les agradezco que los hagan, hacen feliz a los niños que llevamos adentro, los que crecimos viendo esta increible serie.
Solo quiero agregar una idea que de ser posible mejore aún mas este Mod.

I'm having problems.
This is my first mod I'm installing, I have version 1 of the game. SAMI doesn't work so I copied all the files from the ''Files'' folder to my original dir, and clicked yes when asked to replace.
I also replaced all the txd and dff files with the one in the ''Files'' or ''Models'' folder with IMG tool.
And when I start the game, it loads, and as soon as I see CJ at some airport, the game freezes. At around 8:01 in game time. I see ''xyzxyz123'' and ''akthar1993'' have the same problem.
So KITT, can you help me out? Also I already tried reinstalling.

Nvm got it to work.
I now do wonder why the scanners wont move?
I can use the car etc, but the sensor (red light) wont move lol.
Only KARR moves.
a problem with the new models. it will be fixed in the next release
By the way, the Knight 3000 on the airport looks better than the one you can summon with c+space.
Too bad the scanners on it dont work.
Well they do in Attack Mode, but they dont in normal mode.
K3000 on airport is model from KR08 S1
K3000 you spawn is model from KR08 pilot ( S0E0)
hey vidjan i hav the same problem as you,how did you fix it,when i start the game it freezes at 8:01
Oh and also, when I press c+space, nothing happens, all I see are the words Knight Industries 2000 on my screen, then they dissapear and my game goes into some slowmotion **** lol.
Also the red scanner still wont work on any car.
Only in K3000 when I go into Attack Mode, then it works, but other than that, nothing. Please help.
thats meant to happen. you use the yes and no keys to select a car, then the action key to spawn it
I downloaded GTA: Knight Rider V0.2b R2 Updated 27 Jan 2010 and the scanner on all the cars started moving.

auto cruise isnt in it yet. you are using the + and . keys on the number pad right? not the ones with the letters?
the wepons like flame thrower dont work and guns as well and i am push + on the numbers and . on letters

KITT,my son was answring there on last two.we have a mini keyboard,and have no number pad .so is that why we dont have spm,attack .etc???? is there someway around this.ie configure,etc.configuarable game controller? usb number pad,or this keyboard settings .etc.many thanks..........>>>>>off to fiddler with keyboard..
kitt thank you ..now with usee of numbers lock,now have attack mode,weaPONS ETC.
feel a bit silly ,but never had to use number lock before......game is everything how it should with no probs.....TOP MAN.
just to add........iss there any mod yet out there for changing the opening to san andreas screens for a knightrider look.rather like the bttf
not at the moment. expect new loading screens in the next release. but that wont be for a few months yet. sorry. maybe some time in the future i'll release just a loading screen patch

How can i find out which version of gta san i have?
i released a patch for 0.2a but you dont need it for 0.2b. if you have V2 of san andreas you will need the downgrade patch, but i dont know how you find out what version you have

Why can't I play the story with the mod installed?
Every time I choose Start New Game it just puts me on a airport with alot of money and all missions done?
Seriously lol, please help me out, I just want to play the story AND have the mod.
