What does the American dream mean today?
For Niko Bellic fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape from his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity.
As they slip into debt and get dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream in a city that worships money and status, and is heaven for those who have them and a living nightmare for those who don't.

I agree, this port was terrible and full of performance problems,
Apparently the crowd who ported were wii developers, and to make matters worse, they used the ps3 version(linux based!) to port instead of a simple port of the xbox version :(
could have been great, 6-7/10 in my opinion, and thats being generous
9/10 its a great game but hard

Awesome game.
I'm lucky to own an ATI HD4870 so it worked right from the start - and let me forget about the ~3 hours I had to waste for installation/registration/login (server(s) didn't respond at release date)
Rockstar, get new programmers, yours simply suck big time.
R* Games must buy some better programmers!
