the gates(markers on the ground) are distracting in FPS view, because their splash animation makes it looks like there is a brief lag. Maybe you can find another way to give feedback when the player hit a gate.

Beating the AI seems very easy, but I can imagine this to be a cool game when played with friends. Would go well on any handheld, I imagine (with wi-fi connectivity, instead of LAN)

From the looks of it youre not all too strict on realism for level-design. Thats good! Keep it that way becaus in the end a game is about fun, not about realism. Some Developers seem to forget about that.

I really like the premise of Geargrinder. Though there are a lot of racing games out there, I really like the Mad Max theme going on! Great Job! The freeway level looks pretty fun with all the debris and oncoming traffic.
