Garry’s Mod is a sandbox mod for the Source Engine. Unlike normal games there aren't any predefined aims or goals. Players are given tools and are left to entertain themselves.

The popular gamemode UnderDone from Garry's Mod 12 is now available on Garry's Mod 13 for public beta testing.

Ironically called Underdone 13

You can join the server today at: 69.162.88.60:27015

"These guys are very hard to take down and will even throw grenades, launch M203 rounds and even kick you if you are close enough. In the distance a sniper can also be seen"

How do I join/get this mod?
This gamemode is currently in public beta testing, you can join the server and play the gamemode at:
69.162.88.60:27015 (Add this address to your server listing in Steam)

You will need to also have the "Half-Life Renaissance" addon which is available from the Steam Workshop at: Half-Life Renaissance
To decrease the waiting time of trying to join even more please get the map "rp_stalker" and its content from here: "rp_stalker and content"
(Other wise you will have to wait for all the files to download from the server which can take some time)
 
Once public beta testing is over and I am happy with the gamemode it will be publicly available to download from here and the Steam Workshop.
You will then be able to play it in Single Player or host your own server.

What is this?
This is a gamemode called Underdone 13.
It was an RPG originally created by the Shell Shocked Gaming and Tower Yard Entertainment Team for Garry's Mod 12.

It has now been remade and fixed to work on Garry's Mod 13 by The Commander.

What do I do?
You can do many things in Underdone, such as doing quests, killing npcs, and collecting rare items. Play it as you would an normal RPG.

How do I get money?
Unlike some other gamemodes you might be familiar with Underdone does not just give you money, You are expected to earn it through quests, selling items, and picking up dropped items.

How do I open the Inventory?
To open your main menu containing the inventory, skills and players tabs press and hold the Q button, as you would in sandbox

How do I use my Skill Points?
If you open your main menu (see above) you will see a skills tab, go to that panel and you can see the full selection of skills available. If you can not get a skill it will appear greyed out. To spend a Skill Point double click the icon of the skill you would like to get.

this problem exists in some addons that i have\had and basicaly its where i give myself a weapon from anny one of the example addons: Customizable weaponry, the extra pack and the "LK05" from Fokku's sweps and some others that i have forgetten. (ive dumped the LK05 but ive still got the problem with "CW" so i would still like some help :3)

NOTE: this is in singleplayer and multiplayer

NOTE: i have not tried deleting\moving ALL other addons and starting with just the "CW" mod. this will be my next step after i sort out all of my addons ^^

hi. dont bother replying cause i just figured it out myself. it was actually faulty coding.. here is the code line that was malfunctioning:

bullet.dir = (self.owner:eyeangles() +self.owner:getpunchangle() ):Forward()

I wiped out " +self.owner:getpunchangle()" and left the code intact like this:

bullet.dir = (self.owner:eyeangles() ):Forward()

i find that getting right in to the mud with what ever you are having problems with is the best way to fix the issue. i will now go and do this to the rest of the addons that are "Malfunctioning"

NOTE: if you wipe out this part: " ):Forward()" as well as the other part. you break the addons and none of the guns will show up in the spawn menu ^^... i made this mistake but it all worked out well and im happy now

ok. hold that thought. i did not fully fix the guns. i just turned a very big problem into a relatively small one.

with the "fix" (if you will) the animation does not play every time i fire a bullet, the lua errors stop appearing and i can actually cause dammage to NPC's/players.
BUT, i now have the bullets comming from the sky instead of the gun and every time i reload/change fire mode there are no bullet impacts unless i switch weapon to another one and back again.

now all i have to figure out is how to make
" +self.owner:getpunchangle()" work without lua errors and visual faliure to please.

thats all i have to say and i will be back regularly to check for replies although i do not expect them. i will be back some time within 24Hrs

i altso get this lua error on "HK Weapons pack" and this one is:

NOTE: it does not actually say location but im not bothered typing it all in... i can be lazey at times..

but i just want to rephrase the parts where i say\write that the reload animation comes each time i fire a bullet.

what actually happens is the cocking annimation IE: i slide the pistol slide back, pull back the slide an a rifle or concerning the "Famas" it looks like i pull the weapon out from holster each time i shoot..

hope this clears things up a little :S

i really hope that someone has a solution and will help me cause "CW" is the verry best weapon addon i have ever come across and i want it to work so bad :(

and im not going to say thanks in advance cause ive searched all over the garrysmod forums,facepunch forums and google searched it and came up with two sites in foreign language, i had them translated via google and all i understood was a question and no solid "Fix" replies.

but i will hope for the best... or. at least good results

are you using Gmod 9,10, 11, 12(if it exists) or 13

if gmod9 then from what i remember. its a bit tricky at times to add stuff to it but adding NPC's should be fine (and how are you trying to install the extra npc's (most addons for gmod are for gmod11 and therefore might not work on 9 or 10))

if gmod10 then i remember that it was a pain in the *** to add npc's but adding tools and props were no problem (where and how are you trying to install the extra npc's)

if gmod11 then just answer how you are trying to add/install the extra npc's because its pretty easy to add annything to gmod11

and im not shure if there is a gmod12 because there is the Gmod 13 BETA but if you are using gmod12 or 13 then i cant say much since i havent tried them yet. but if you are using one of those two i ask the same question as for gmod 11

NOTE: if its made as and addon (addons go in the garrysmod addons folder) then it should have a info.txt in its folder

but if it has no info file then you just place the folders (typicaly it would be folders:Materials and models but some npc's have a script folder with them) in the garrysmod folder NOT in addons folder (This is also true for all downloads for gmod. addons go in addons folder and the downloads with no info file go in the the garrysmod folder)

NOTE: and for annyone who does no know where you garrysmod folder is or what it is: the garrysmod folder can be found in (Default):
"C:\
Program Files (x86)\
Steam\
steamapps
\yourusername
\Garrysmod\
garrysmod" (sorry for the mess right here but theres a 50 character limit on each word and this location was taken as one word...)
in there should be allot of folders like addons,sound,materials,data and so on Hope this helped you or someone else ^^
