Going to be fantastic when we get some time to really tweak this so it looks good. Nice to have it working though!

Really nice, theses destructibles walls will add more tactic to the game, and constant evolution

Nice, i hope those are rocket launchers, though. If machine guns are doing that kind of damage, the walls must be made of cheese. Keep up the good work!

Cheers for this! Yep, those are rocket launchers - machine guns don't damage walls. Grenades don't either (that's a necessary gameplay thing, trust me!)

The only problem i can see with this is that when a wall gets destroyed it always creates debris that looks the same, if debris was automatically pushed away from the source of the explosion and collided with walls that would be really freaking cool
instead of just pretty freaking awesome

but yeah, after some tweaking that is going to look absolutely amazing

Nice comment - yep it's pretty much the same every time in this test. This is just a demo to show the effect working - now it's in place there's ALL KINDS of things we can do with it. Personally, I really hope we're going to be able to get debris colliding with walls, a good degree of randomness + directionality in there - all that stuff. I'll have to see what the art department says!

Quick vid of what a game looks like in the current beta. Pretty much everything visual is a work in progress. This is our first attempt at the debris particle system which will fling broken bits of wall through the level. Currently looks very abstract!
