Frozen Synapse is the ultimate tactical game: you have full control over your strike team, directing their every movement. At the same time, your opponent is plotting to defeat you. Plan your moves, then hit the "Execute" button: both you and your enemy's turns are executed simultaneously.
Bite-size, hardcore strategy: a touch of X-Com and Laser Squad, with a striking sci-fi aesthetic.

One of my friends who I gave a copy of this game to wonders if there will be any thing such as a campaign maker? Where a person could piece together levels from a custom scenario and add in text etc. to make a campaign?
I was actually really surprised by how good this game is, I expected it to be a bland tactical game, but instead it slapped me in the face and showed me all it could do! I love this game and I wonder if you guys will keep updating this already fantastic game.
Fantastic game, with a deep and immersive story. It`s not afraid to have some humour in it either, and it doesn`t ruin the story at all. I`ve heard some people complain about the price tag, well. 55 mission, an epic as **** soundtrack and several multiplayer modes, i can`t really complain personally. The community is not dying either, infact im getting bombarded with invites to games. A fresh breath of air in an otherwise incredibly sad industry oversatured with bad fpses and ripoff dlcs.
Indie gaming!
One of my fave comments! Thanks!
This NEEDS to be on the 3DS, the ability to play this game using touchscreen and view all the action in real 3D would be amazing. Now go out there and make it happen :)
I've been thinking that for a while. This is the perfect kind of game for the portable market. And I can just imagine how awesome the hologram effect would be in 3D. These guys need licensing.
You should also do a Nokia N8 port if you're considering mobile, it has dolby surround and a dedicated graphics chip. You can hook the phone up to a HDTV via the HDMI port & cable and play it on the big screen like with any of the games on it
This guy is actually right..
Now that I consider it, this gameplay would translate perfectly to both the DS and Iphone/Ipad.
But leave the Iphone/Ipad be >_> we dun likes dem.
I've been playing around 4h of the singleplayer by now. Congrats to the devs, amazing work! I'm totally hooked already.
This woud be perfect for the Humble Indie Bundle 3. Can you work out a Linux version so I can give you my money? Please?
