I would definatly download a demo, any chance of one coming soon?
Probably get the game if the demo is as awesome as the trailer looks.

One of the best games ever. 10/10.
It would be really good if Desura could work out putting FreeSpace Open (and mods) as optional downloads for this.
Supposedly mod distribution is one of those things that Desura folks really really want to do ('cause of ModDB!!), but they need to make enough money to sustain development. I think that the way they're handling DLC (like for Steel Storm & Dredmor) is a way to work it out while also hopefully bringing in revenue. But yeah, mods were high on the list the last time I checked :-)
