"Just for kicks" would be the description.

Yeah, this crysis look really fits with this gun too.

Just shows how good of an engine UE3 is for any artistic theme or form of gameplay.

Whoa awesome!! Is it just to show off UE3 capabilities or are you planning on making a level in a jungle?

I love the source engine, and all HL related games... but the udk kicks the @#$% out of it... then sleeps with its mother

udk is great... except the secret to Source's success is its amazing backwards compatibility. Not every person with a computer has a top-of-the-line graphics card so take this into consideration when thinking graphics are everything. (take a look at the wii)

UDK can run on an iphone. it may not look like it does on a monster pc but source can't run on a handheld. UDK wins on low-end hardware too.

Source balances between visuals and system requirements.
(So that also poor kiddies could play).

UDK balances between visuals and fun.

I gotta say Epic Games are really blowing my mind with how frequently they are upgrading the engine since the launch of the free UDK. It's quickly catching up to the Crysis-Engine like a homing sidewinder.

Yes I did read the description before u all complain at me.

U know seeing this I dont see why there couldnt be a jungle level somewhere. SkyNet didnt nuke everywhere lol. Would be pretty awsome to have lazers ripping though the trees and massive Robot tanks crushing everything in their path. Could be pretty cinimatic xD

While it's night, and raining, and all the lazer light is going through the transparent leaves and illuminating the raindrops?

That actually sounds ******* epic.

What make the source engine great is it's versatility. With new source games (Portal 2) and mods (CM), the source engine promises to compete well with the Unreal and id tech engines

Description

I opened Epic's GDC 2010 tech demo level with FPSterminator, just out of curiosity. FYI this will not be a level for the game's campaign so don't complain that it doesn't look like a terminator level.
