Hello again everyone! In this update we're presenting our new refined combat system developed specifically for Fortis Rex. We've been adding tons of new features to the game to make combat more fun, including the ability to create your own army by upgrading troops. An example of this is peasants-> Militia or Peasant Archers. You can upgrade your troops the way you want to refine your army. Create a massive army of archers and obliterate your enemy before they have a chance to get to your men, or compose a balanced army of swordsmen and marksmen.

Hi everyone! It's been a LONG while since I logged into IndieDB, just to let everyone know I'll be doing an update soon, been working hard on MANY new changes and improvements to Fortis Rex, so this will probably be a big update. We're going to release the demo to everyone soon.

1.will yiu be haveing a free alpha or beta availble to everyone soon?
2.will the world be empty or will it contain intresting things to find like dungeons,shrines etc...
3.will it have other things to fight otger than men like monster and stuff?
4.if not will there be lots of diffrentv types of men to fight(like mages with magic or something)?
5.will you need a ultra powerfull pc to play it and getv good fps?

1. The beta will be given to all Kickstarter supporters May 29 2013, however we are thinking about releasing a limited arena demo to IndieDB supporters
2. The world will be populated with TONS of stuff to do, but It'll take us some time to get that done.
3. There are no monsters in Fortis Rex, just humans, comparable to the Mount and Blade series.
4. Fortis Rex is a realistic Medieval world, but with a few fantasy elements, which makes it a low-fantasy RPG
5. You will need decent specs to crank up the visual details and get a massive number of troops in battle.

Yes, thank you for the tip, we are going to be changing the reticle for the Beta.
