Far Cry is definitely a great game. I can say that its a real masterpiece of Crytek which has everything - the best ever seen graphics by that time, interesting and challenging gameplay, and of course its story. You feel yourself like in a tropical paradise which hides something terrible inside. The game is quite long in compare with other FPS games, and it consists of 20 Single player levels and 8 multiplayer maps. Ok, Guys arguing about how crysis sucks or not, CRYSIS UN-MODIFIED SUCKS! They put out the SDK editor with it so you can mod it to your standards, that's why Far Cry 2 sucks so much ***, It does not have SDK. Far Cry 1 and Crysis do, they kick *** because of that.
Man, you could read The Iliad while installing this if you have a lower end system. Great game though, but freakin hard!
bout that argument: Id go for both farcry and crysis for the games themselves. They are both fun games, I mean farcry would win in my book though cause crysis was made by a company under the umbrella of EA, and I would bomb EAs HQ if I wouldnt get caught, and nobody would get hurt, or any surrounding buildings get damaged...

Well Crysis may be innovative and well done, but Far Cry paved its path... Very deep :D. But the Tridgens ARE really really annnoying.
How active is the multiplayer currently? Do a lot of people play with the XTv4 patch?
well half-life 2 episode 1 came out on my birthday
Gameplay is never equivelant to non-essential graphics features. Crysis still sucks as a game if you have a GTX or a HD4870. At least FarCry is very enjoyable and doesn't try too hard to be Predator-Too.
