You are sent to war-torn Africa to assassinate The Jackal, a mysterious arms dealer who has rekindled conflict between local warlords, jeopardizing thousands of lives. In order to fulfil your mission you will have to play the warring factions against each other, identify and exploit their weaknesses, and neutralize their superior numbers with surprise, subversion, cunning and, of course, brute force.

Description

Category: Nostalgia. This is a remake of Kakariko Village from the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I just added the Kakariko Graveyard to finish it off. Playable in all game modes. Enjoy!

Oh wow, seriously? okay i will check it out! :D

Oh man this is wonderful! i have a few gripes, but this map is sweet!

it very closely reflects the original map and that is what counts most :)

I love how you captured the houses and the construction area, very nice. Impa's house is awesome! :D

The only problems i have are debatable. you didnt include the graveyard, which i think would have been possible, but never the less would have been, technically, inaccurate, on account of that being a "load zone" in OoT, and the hidden grottoes and holes in the ground could have been included, i think, though would have required probable excessive use of rocks.

It's too bad you cant *really* get into the windmill, but again, a matter of accuracy, most places were "load zones".

I am glad we can at least enter the houses! :D Very well done! :)

thanks!

i actually was going to include the graveyard but ran out of time to submit it for the contest. i WILL be making it though! and the windmill thing would have taken a lot to make it accessible because id have to create the ground below the windmill out of concrete blocks instead of actual ground. (something i will probably eventually include and just re-upload the new file.) i really wanted to include the grottoes but it would have required using rocks (like you said) to actually create the underground zones since the editor doesn't allow you to carve out the earth. but yeah, the graveyard is coming! be sure to check back soon!

oh awesome! it's a shame some of us didnt find out about the contest/get the game till late in the competition, to put in the time and effort in some of our maps :P

i cant wait to see how this map turns out.

and if you ever did it, death mountain would be so sweet, goron village and the crater.... haha im getting ahead of things :P

haha, yeah i thought about death mountain, the crater and goron city but, i don't have enough map space to actually do it right. maybe for a separate map... at least death mountain can be seen off in the distance. by the way, i'm working on the graveyard as i'm typing this. freaking sweet so far.

Goron city is possible... however it looks yuck since it's all indoors.
The canyon leading up to goron city was a bit big though. If I was going to do a zelda map, this was the one I was area I was looking at doing or The big open plains of hyrule itself, however that was probably a bit too big.
Nice job!

i actually considered doing hyrule field but it just didn't seem like it would be a fun conventional multiplayer map because of its openness. the graveyard should be finished before the deadline. i've been working on it for about 5 hours. speed editing.
