Its funny when i first looked at this i thought it would suck, but this was actually well done. Nice job dude...the only thing i would recommend is changing how the huts are because in the TV show there made out of the plane debris. So maybe use shanty buildings and use some details to make them look like they belong. Rock placement by the way is excellent.

hi,

thanx for the compliments! good idea change the beach huts to shanty buildings. However, if i do that, wont i have to repost it again and wont that result in version conflicts?

I think what he means is built the huts by hand, rather than using a prebuilt object. There are hay pile things that you could use in combination with some other objects to get the desired effect.
Anyway, I'll download now and check it out, if spooboy reckons it's ok, I should give it a look, even though I didn't like the screenshot from before.

I downloaded and played. I liked the remake of the village but that was about it i'm sorry.
However I did recognize every key point of the map.
It was OK, it still felt very WIP, the hills weren't detailed with cliff faces yet, and were just round brushes that went upwards, there was grass and plants in parts that the player could not see or reach, which means performance is effected, and ...well, my car couldn't get up one of the roads from the village up to the hill because it was a lazy car :(....the roll off the side of the cliff was fun though :D
And going up steep hills feels just like it does when you're driving a real car..it's kinda un-nerving as you need to keep the power on and keep momentum otherwise you can get in all sorts of trouble like I did :P
