You are sent to war-torn Africa to assassinate The Jackal, a mysterious arms dealer who has rekindled conflict between local warlords, jeopardizing thousands of lives. In order to fulfil your mission you will have to play the warring factions against each other, identify and exploit their weaknesses, and neutralize their superior numbers with surprise, subversion, cunning and, of course, brute force.
This is my scurvy map created for the What the..!? contest. The pirates make a stop to battle for the buried gold. This map can be played in all modes, day or night. You have two ships and the pirate stop in the middle. Very balanced game play. The ships have 6 levels to them. You can swim under each ship to a entrance on the side to sneak up on your foes.
wow, nice job!
very very very impressive mate, oooo did i tell u impressive lol?
nice job, one of the better maps for the category, well done.
lol
Nice work!
This is really well done.
Capture points should never be in a teams base imo. You should consider making the island longer, or even have a couple of stray islands for capture points that you have to drive out to in swamp boats or something.
i concur with that comment. of even make an actual swamp with shallow water, just deep enough to conceal the undergrowth, but shallow enough to walk and gun through, or drive a car even. although cars on this map might be a little inappropriate XD
No cars! dont do that hahaha.
I do agree that there needs to be more than just the pirate ships. The island is extremely basic, it's probably about the right size, but it's certainly not interesting. The idea with a map like this is to have at least 3 hot zones. The hot zones being both pirate ships and in between the pirate ships.
In between the pirate ships at the moment looks pretty boring to be honest. Spice it up, you can add more detail in there easily and make it better, and you'll have what even I would consider a top map, even though i'd like to win aswell :P
But yeh, this map is certainly welcomed here as there hasn't really been anything unique for a while now.
more cover. a little more sniper cover will go a long way on this map. it is a wonderfully fun map, and i had fun checking it out, but dont get out of hand. maybe a couple boxes, and a fence or two. nothing much, just a little something to protect runners between ships from snipers on the masts.
Also take note that anybody inside of the ship will be easy to spot from the outside, and every wall of the ship is penetrable, so really, being inside the ship is just a death trap right from the get go.
