Vault-Tec engineers have worked around the clock on an interactive reproduction of Wasteland life for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own vault. Included is an expansive world, unique combat, shockingly realistic visuals, tons of player choice, and an incredible cast of dynamic characters. Every minute is a fight for survival against the terrors of the outside world – radiation, Super Mutants, and hostile mutated creatures. From Vault-Tec, America’s First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation.
If you step on a bear trap, you'll most likely die. If you steal a plate, a ******* mob will hunt you down and kill you. And, if you break a leg, take a nap. That should fix it.
Fallout 3 in a nutshell.
It's really good actually, buy it. It's worth it.
A vast wasteland world, filled with quests and enemies, the only problem is, some mutants are very OP.
I love this game.
Growing up in a vault, all hell breaks loose and you take your first steps out into the world.
The Lone Wanderer from vault 101 they call you.
A big world to explore and alot of fun to be had.
You are equipped with the Pipboy, one of the coolest gadgets in gaming, really helps this game be even more fun.
Good or evil, you choose your path.
The game contains a really good fun storyline which had me on the edge of my seat just waiting for what would happen next! The world and interior DC cells were really realistic considering the game setting and the five add-ons that came with the game all were worth playing. I enjoyed the large amount of space to explore and the vast array of enemies to kill, and not only this, I found that the very landscape its self enthralled me and had the magical effect of showing the wasteland beauty, even though it's a dead world! I will always remember leaving vault 101, when the light fades away, and the wastes come into view, and the music plays, it really sets the atmosphere for the whole game. It was worlth playing every minute of it!
So difficult that only the word "Unfair" comes to mind when playing this. The graphics were amazing for their time and still hold fairly well, this game is perhaps one of the hardest, second only to Super Meat Boy.
There are loads of problems with it in terms of bugs, I got smacked by a super mutiant and become one with the geometry but that aside an enjoyable experiences. It's biggest problem is it's fanbase.
It's too far up its own arse, well the community is anyway.
It's not the worst game I've played but this doesn't crack my top 10.
They didn't make it a real time FPS to "make it easier to start with for new players" thats what a tutorial is for, not a whole game. The reason they made is that some people don't like TB strategy games.
Problem is that hardcore fallout fans won't like this and people who like FPS might not like the necessity of using VATS mode which slows the game down and takes control away from you. Fact is the game is far away from FO3, not just in gameplay but visually the wasteland looks different. It looks alot more grey than FO3 is, not enough brown and green is missing that you should see "some" of, some plants here and there. Signs that the world is recovering.
No Bosses. Missed opportunity.
The stories ending is also terrible, the story just felt empty at the end which is kind of really unforgivable for fallout. The endings are so abysmal, they do nothing to give any closure or even summarise all the trails and tribulations you had to go through upto that point.
