Faceless is a Greenlit Multiplayer Horror on the Unreal Engine 4 which sees players attempting to survive alone, or with up to three other players in Wakeland City to try and find Daniel North. Having followed his documents, the players must find Dolls in each location and deliver them to the Ritual Zones in each location to set the trapped souls within free, thus completing Daniel's quest, and bringing the survivors one step closer to learning of his whereabouts. Upon burning all the Dolls, The Being will be forced to depart from the immediate area... But not until it has tried to exact revenge upon you first.

Elijah's voice actor is actually rather good! Daniel's however... eh there's a little to be desired.

I agree, Daniel's voice actor isn't so good, but I think they could get better. On the other hand, Elijah seems to have a very natural talent for voice acting, he is great!

That is Sam A. Mowry voicing Elijah.

I would personally like to say that I am voicing Daniel North, and of course that is never ever going to be on the same scale as Sam A. Mowry, who voiced Elijah. I also suffer from profound deafness in real life so I consider the fact to even be able to speak clearly to some extent is really lucky. By the time I'd contributed so much to Daniel North's character voice wise, I felt it was difficult to leave at such a late stage and replace the voice actor. Whilst I apologise for any area I lack in, I feel I will see this the entire way through, and perhaps consider the fact that voice acting may not be for me past Faceless.

In no way, did I desire for my comment to be harsh or mean. I'll admit I was ignorant on the background of the voice actors involved with this project. I was essentially making a comment on what little I knew, you know?

In any case, knowing that the voice actor for Daniel is partially deaf I would be incredibly happy to see that also transferred over into the actual character of Daniel.

Personally, I believe this would provide a fair amount of depth for Daniel's character as long as it exists in the game's story... somewhere. Regardless, if it has any sort of affect on the gameplay as Daniel.

In the end, I have no intention of trying to tear away something you're passionate about. I understand where you're coming from and encourage you to pursue something you're so invested in!

Oh no worries! In no way did I read your comment as being harsh or mean, you were merely offering your input! Nobody really knows so I can totally understand, but I don't feel my deafness would severely impact on what skills I can gain in voice acting, but perhaps it affects the tone of my voice.

We had discussed on quite a few occasions as to whether Daniel would be deaf, but it's never really been touched upon other than that.

Don't worry at all, I appreciate these comments a lot and I'm glad to hear it! Like I mentioned earlier, being beside somebody like Sam A. Mowry is tremendous, I could never match his talents. So perhaps that's why I don't stand out next to him!

But thank you for your comments, once again.

Very true, but with practice comes perfection! Glad nothing ill or hostile came of this! Keep being awesome, man!

This sounds like Alexander of Brennenburg talking to Daniel in Amnesia: The Dark Descent

the old dude sounds like a character out of ES: Oblivion or the guard who lets you off the boat in the beginning of Morrowind

"This video isn't really intended to be a trailer, but more of a reveal for Elijah Grey, the playable character for the Prologue in Faceless. Elijah Grey is a character with seemingly good intentions, but his past seems to be very obscure. Hints can be found out about Elijah Grey in the multiplayer side of the game."
