Faceless is a Greenlit Multiplayer Horror which sees players attempting to survive alone, or with up to three other players in Wakeland City to try and find Daniel North, having followed his documents, the players must find Dolls in each location and deliver them to the Ritual Zones in each location to set the trapped souls within free. Upon burning all the Dolls, The Being will be forced to depart from the immediate area... But not until it has tried to kill you first.

Hi guys, this is Adam Sklar, the Lead Promotional Designer for Slender: Source, I'll be hosting this weeks news and I apologise for it being a little bit later than usual! First things first, you may notice we have a new ModDB header, this is just so we have a logo that really is our own, that uses our own artwork:

Along with this, we have a new wallpaper pack coming in, you can see what the new wallpaper looks like here. Some may prefer the older ones, some may prefer the newer ones. We got the idea that people were looking for a more darker look and feel to our content, and it was my experiment to see whether something bright would also suit, maybe I was wrong. We'll still keep up the older wallpapers for those who prefer them.

Also, the ARG series is finally wrapping up for the time being, there will be no more ARG videos for a while, however I will let you in on something, whenever the ARG videos come back, an official teaser/theatrical trailer will be following them, you just need to decode each ARG to find the trailer. Eventually sooner or later, the trailer will be made public anyway.

As of now there are currently three ARG series running. The "Days Remaining" videos, which talk about previous victims of Slendy and Daniel, the "Binary" videos, which require you to download the audio linked in the video's description, then open it in a software of your choice that is capable of converting sound to an image. The image will reveal something about the mod, just like Portal 2's ARG campaign if you can remember correctly. The third one is the "?? DAYS" collection, of which there are only three videos, which talk about 3 maps in the mod.

You can check out all the videos once again over here, at Slender Source's YouTube Channel.

I myself will also be eventually uploading a video showing the solutions and results to each ARG video to explain and solve each one.

This is just one of the resultant images from one of the audio files:

Here's three videos, latest ones from each of the three series' of the ARG campaign:

Slender: Source is now on Greenlight!

Many of you will already know that Slender: Source has been uploaded to Greenlight, so we'd appreciate it if all of you could upvote it to ensure that Slender: Source will one day be on Steam so that we can provide you with live updates and patches without you having to download a thing, as well as receiving updates for new maps that come along the way, possible workshop items as well as possible Halloween/Christmas themed temporary updates.

One of our contributors, Daniel, who is the very model and voice actor for the ingame character Richard, would like to say a few words:

Daniel wrote:"Hey guys, ninonybox here. I as you know am the model and VA for Richard, and I hope you guys are as excited for Slender: Source as I am. I look forward to voice acting in this project, and I wish the Dev team luck. Live free, play hard!" ~ninonybox

Tucker is also carrying on with uploading videos about what he does during his own time, during the development of Slender Source, his latest one talks about what he does at work:

Ask the Devs.

Someone wrote:Will we be able to apply for closed beta spots?

We will choose people we trust, active members on the forums, friends, etc etc, applications may be likely but until we actually have something that's going to be a closed beta, we will decide then.

A wrote:Why are Slendy's tentacles missing?!

Slendy is still a work in progress. He will have tentacles and some other modifications that we will reveal later in development.

Somebody wrote:Will will see Slenderman moving?

Occasionally, yes. Most of the time he will appear in positions behind you, ranging from close to a distance, but sometimes you will see him move, yes.

So yes, hope this update was nice enough, we're keeping a lot of things under wraps but we intend to show you a lot over the coming months. Although a lot of us will be going back or going to college, uni, or/and work, it's going to be a busy time where the updates may be lengthened out to two weeks or even a month, but we will make sure to bring you as much news as possible!

Thank you,

~Adam Sklar

Hardly action, but this is a beta concept towards the distortions on seeing Slender, and it isn't in game, it's a concept, better than nothing, I hope, but we'd rather not spoil the best by revealing it now. ;D Youtube.com
