Faceless is a Greenlit Multiplayer Horror on the Unreal Engine 4 which sees players attempting to survive alone, or with up to three friends in Wakeland City to try and find Daniel North. Having followed his documents, the players must find Dolls in each location and deliver them to the Ritual Zones to set the trapped souls within free, thus completing Daniel's quest, and bringing the survivors one step closer to learning his whereabouts. Upon burning all the Dolls, The Soulrender will be forced to depart from the immediate area... But not until after it has tried to feed on your souls.

Its looking great, really, really good. But you NEED to put that in-game blur. It just has to happen, its so awesome. I don't think you have to change anything.
It has to have that feeling like: Did i just see him? ...
Like in the distance and distorted and blurred :D

"the effects are not in-game" the effects seen in these teaser-shots would fit the mod so good in-game imho. would love to see these inside the playable build... you have to find a good coder or if you already have one: ask him to do it. :D

To be honest, these effects can easily be done, though I'd prefer to have the option of either turning it on or off myself.

It sounds like a good idea, but make perhaps a console option, or check box in the options menu to toggle the blur on or off.

Super DoF, and simply DoF lags a lot of systems so it's just an idea, a lot of us at the Dev team would actually love to see this implemented into some sort of difficulty level or an option, but only time will tell.

Blurs are best implemented through DX11, especially with the Bokeh Blur used in this image. Shouldn't be hard, but I knew right away this look nothing like Source Engine. Maybe UDK, right out of the box, but not Source.

Hm, good point, I just edited this myself for part of the trailer, same for a lot of images here, I don't know much about coding and stuff, but we'll see, a lot of people seem to like this, which surprised me.

Blur it in game, shouldn't be that hard to code!
