"Cypress" is a fantasy adventure game for your Windows, Mac, or Linux PC. Using the mouse and keyboard, a single player controls a lone monk named Geoffrey as he travels through a post-apocalyptic wilderness. Gameplay involves navigating the landscape, ranged combat with bow-and-arrow, management of food and shelter, NPC conversations, item crafting, and several different magical powers. (A USB Mouse is strongly recommended.)
Description
This new version includes bugfixes and new things to find in the world of Ildron. Instructions: Extract, then CD to the extracted directory and run "./cypress.bin". (You will need to have installed SDL, SDL-IMAGE, SDL-GFX, SDL-TTF, and SDL-MIXER. Some Linux users may get an error message about not being able to load SDL-GFX. If this happens, try choosing the CONTINUE option. I am working on a fix.) If you still have trouble getting Cypress to run on Linux, try running the Windows version under Wine.
